Mädchen Amick is an American actress best known for her roles as Shelly Johnson on the cult television series Twin Peaks, and as Alice Cooper on the drama series Riverdale. She has also appeared in films such as Dream Lover, Sleepwalkers, and The Craft. Amick was born on December 12, 1970 in Sparks, Nevada. She began her acting career at the age of 16, appearing in the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation. She then went on to appear in a number of television shows, including Twin Peaks, Melrose Place, and ER. In addition to her acting career, Amick is also a successful businesswoman. She owns a clothing line called Mädchen Amick Collection, which she launched in 2017. She is also the founder of the charity organization, The Mädchen Amick Foundation, which provides support to children in need. Amick is married to actor David Alexis, with whom she has two children. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
